
The Barinia Vineyard is located 10 km North West of the Clare Township. The 200 acre vineyard has been planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Riesling, varieties which have made the Clare Valley a world renowned wine region.
Brick Kiln is a single varietal producer, focusing on making one of the best Shiraz from the famous McLaren Vale region in South Australia. The owners of Brick Kiln, the Mankinnons aim is to make a McLaren Vale shiraz the equal of Fox Creek Reserve (of who they were foundation partners) but without the enormous price tag. The Brick Kiln name derived from Brick Kiln Bridge along Almond Grove Road approaching the vineyard. The eight hectare (20 acres) Nine Gums Vineyard nestles under the rolling Willunga Hills.
Settled in the 1880’s as a sheep staion, Callendale Estate is now central to one of Australia’s premier wines regions. Callendale Estate represents the heart and soul of the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. Named for the Locharburn stream which the vines and their home overlook, the 14ha sustainability accredited vineyard is planted on north-easterly facing terraces near the top of Lake Dunstan in Cromwell Basin. The unique microclimate of the terraces, Central Otago’s famed hot summers and long autumns let the grapes ripen slowly, yielding high-quality fruit with intense, complex flavours.
